The winter of 2024 was characterized by mild temperatures and heavy rainfall, which ensured adequate soil moisture and encouraged early budbreak. Spring remained cool, with frequent rainfall, particularly in May. The subsequent summer season saw a significant rise in temperatures beginning in June, which allowed for excellent flowering and fruit set, guiding the vines through the onset of veraison. During August, there were some rains, which ensured vegetative balance in the vineyard, allowing the grapes to reach the final stage of ripening under optimal conditions.
Torrebona Chianti offers a rich, lingering aroma, with hints of red fruit that blend perfectly with mineral notes, creating a vibrant tasting experience. The palate is full-bodied and intense, characterized by an excellent balance between sweetness and structure.
Excellent with light pasta dishes and mild cheeses.
