The 2022 season in Tuscany was one characterized by great balance. Spring, with abundant rainfall that ensured sufficient water resources for the following months, was followed by a cool summer with sporadic rains. June saw temperatures above the seasonal average, but rains in early July brought them back to a level consistent with milder summers.
Coevo 2022 offers generous complexity, featuring notes of dark fruit accompanied by toasty and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is very well-balanced, with ripe tannins that envelop the palate in a silky texture, without sacrificing the vibrant freshness that is a hallmark of its aging potential. A wine well-suited for long-term aging.
An elegant and structured blend that combines the typical freshness of Chianti Classico wines with the softness and balsamic character typical of international grape varieties grown on the Tuscan coast. Ideal as a meditation and collector's wine, perfect for pairing with rich and complex dishes such as game, red meats, and hearty pasta dishes, as well as aged cheeses and gourmet dishes.
