Harvest notes

The winter of 2024 was characterized by mild temperatures and heavy rainfall, which ensured adequate soil moisture and encouraged early budbreak. Spring remained cool, with frequent rainfall, particularly in May. The subsequent summer season saw a significant rise in temperatures beginning in June, which allowed for excellent flowering and fruit set, guiding the vines through the onset of veraison. During August, there were some rains, which ensured vegetative balance in the vineyard, allowing the grapes to reach the final stage of ripening under optimal conditions.

Tasting notes

The 2024 Chianti has a vibrant ruby red color. On the nose, it is pleasantly fruity, with notes of ripe berries, particularly red currants and raspberries. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth with a pleasant tannic structure that is well-defined but never overpowering. The finish is also long and well-defined.

Pairings

A versatile wine that pairs well with hearty dishes featuring white or red meats, as well as semi- aged cheeses. Perfect for traditional Tuscan cuisine.
