Montalcino

Montalcino is a territory where natural suitability meets a unique winemaking history. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, it is the cradle of majestic, long-lived wines, where Sangiovese reaches some of its highest expressions in an extraordinary balance between structure and finesse.

In this unique setting, following its great love for Sangiovese, Cecchi began many years ago a journey of discovery and deeper knowledge of the Montalcino territory, thanks also to partners and friends who are outstanding producers. From this familiarity with the area came the acquisition of an estate in 2018, where today Cecchi produces a Brunello di Montalcino characterized by intensity and longevity, balance and personality, held together by a contemporary style. Alongside it, a Rosso di Montalcino in step with the times, born from a precise philosophy: to give the wine a personality of its own - a pleasant, distinctly contemporary identity that is separate from Brunello’s more austere allure.
The labels are inspired by a love of conviviality and sharing, represented in the works dedicated to “Friends” by artist Fabio De Poli, part of the Cecchi Arte collection, which enriches the hospitality areas and the barrel cellar in Castellina in Chianti.
