Chianti Classico

Chianti Classico is history, heritage, and a symbol of Tuscan culture, known worldwide also thanks to its emblem: the Black Rooster. A territory of oenological excellence, which has given rise to some of the most prestigious wine labels in the world.

Since the early 1960s, the Cecchi family has rooted its identity here, in Castellina in Chianti. Sangiovese, the historic reference variety of Chianti Classico, is grown here with passion and care to express the highest quality and the most authentic identity of the territory, through the three mentions established by the Consorzio: Chianti Classico, Riserva and Gran Selezione. Three different levels that are perfect for showcasing Chianti Classico’s expressive and ageing potential.
